Outdoor Rental Screens with Waterproof Design

Outdoor rental screens with waterproof design are built to withstand rain, dew, and splashesessential for events held in unpredictable weather (e.g., outdoor music festivals, open-air sports events, beach parties). Unlike indoor screens (no waterproofing), outdoor rental screens must meet strict waterproof standards to prevent short circuits, LED damage, and performance failures, with most models complying with IP65 or IP67 ratings.

IP65-rated screens are dust-tight (6) and protected against low-pressure water jets (5, e.g., rain or sprinklers), making them suitable for most outdoor environments. IP67-rated models offer higher protectionthey can be temporarily submerged in 1-meter-deep water for 30 minutes, ideal for events near water (e.g., beach concerts) or heavy rain conditions. Waterproofing is implemented at multiple levels: panel seams are sealed with EPDM rubber gaskets (resistant to aging and water penetration), power and signal connectors use waterproof aviation plugs (with O-ring seals), and the back of the screen features a waterproof membrane (to prevent moisture from entering the LED driver board).

Rental-specific waterproof features include detachable waterproof covers for unused ports (to protect connectors during storage/transport) and corrosion-resistant materials (e.g., stainless steel brackets, anti-rust aluminum frames) to withstand humid or salty environments (e.g., coastal events). A rental company operating in rainy regions reported that IP65 outdoor screens had a 0% failure rate during rainstorms, compared to 25% for non-waterproof screens. Additionally, waterproof design simplifies maintenance: after rain, screens can be wiped clean and reused immediately, no disassembly required. For outdoor events where weather is unpredictable, waterproof outdoor rental screens ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
